Se cierra un año 2016 especialmente convulso, probablemente muchos tengan la impresión de que este ha sido el peor año en cuanto a inestabilidad y violencia se refiere en lo que llevamos de Siglo XXI. Razones no faltan para defender esta hipótesis: El Brexit, el Ascenso al Poder de Trump , el fallido referéndum en Colombia el recrudecimiento de la violencia en la ya devastada Siria o incluso la inestabilidad reinante en España donde hemos pasado casi once meses sin Gobierno. Sin embargo, si tuviésemos que resaltar un fenómeno especialmente preocupante de lo que ha transcurrido a lo largo de este año, este sería el terrorismo de tipo islamista . Y es que si la imagen de un colectivo se ha visto especialmente deteriorada en el imaginario colectivo, esta ha sido la de los musulmanes. Los atentados de Bruselas, continuación de los reciente atentados de París a finales del año anterior, el atentado de Niza, los recientes atentados en Berlín y por supuesto la g rave convulsión

Neither you will see it on the places you can't miss before turning 30, not even on the top places you must see at least once in your life in Africa . However, it still has some "charm" in a particular way. Beauty is not only at first glance, sometimes you need to explore and know further in order to recognize the attractiveness of certain places. Foto en la ciudad de El Jadida, antigua ciudad colonial portuguesa de Mazagan De nuevo me detengo en un aspecto que me parece importante y es en qué medida la forma en la que nos proyectamos a nosotros mismos se manifiesta en nuestra realidad exterior. Esto ocurre a nivel individual pero también a nivel plural y es lo que determina en gran medida la autoestima de un grupo o colectivo.  En este sentido, la experiencia de estar en un país como Marruecos, me ha hecho ver lo importante que resulta quererse a uno mismo ya que solo de esta forma te querrán los demás. Todos tenemos experiencias vividas en ese sentido, pero quizás no nos damos cuenta de ello hasta que no te encuentras con un ejemplo de lo contrario. 

Since I landed in Morocco , one of the first things they told me was "if you want to see something different, you must visit the south". I was reluctant at the beginning since I didn't know anybody that had been in the South before that could give me some feedback about it. Of course, most of the people visiting Morocco stay in the north which remains more familiar or rather go to the desert to have the typical postcard picture to brag about among your friends. However, I had been looking forward to go  on a Road trip for a long time, a trip  without any schedule or attachment, only focused exploring something different and discovering the wild beauty of the South.

En la mezquita de Hassan II, la segunda más grande del Mundo islámico. Ha pasado ya más de una semana desde mi aterrizaje en   Casablanca , tiempo suficiente para extraer unas primeras impresiones. Si bien ya me habían advertido q ue España y Marruecos, pese a ser dos vecinos próximos son muy distintos entre sí , me han bastado unos días aquí para constatar este hecho. Basta con acudir al informe del Índice de Desarrollo Humano que sitúa a Marruecos en la posición 129 o el de Amnistía Internacional que resalta la desigualdad existente entre estos dos países, equiparable a la de México con EE.UU, algo que preocupa  en un periodo turbulento como el actual.
